If you suffer from EHS (Electrical Hypersensitivity), and you are buying a silver bobbinet bed canopy or headnet, you may not need to pay VAT.
If you send us the declaration below, completed with both your personal details and details of your order (an email copy is fine), you may place an order for a canopy or headnet and we are able to supply it ZERO rated! HMRC (Revenue and Customs) has recognised EHS as a disability and therefore these products can be supplied to 'disabled' persons without VAT added. This is a major step in recognising EHS as a disabling condition by a government body.
Please note that this change is NOT retrospective (you CANNOT claim VAT back for any products you have ordered in the past).
We need this declaration BEFORE we can supply the product(s).
What does this mean?
Fill out the form, email or post it to us. Phone us with your order, and we will supply the product zero rated for VAT.
How much can I save?
A Headnet costs £29.90. Without the VAT, it costs £26.00, so you save £3.90
A Single Bed Canopy costs £305.36. Without the VAT, it costs £265.53, so you save £39.83
A Double Bed Canopy costs £322.00. Without the VAT, it costs £280.00, so you save £42.00
A Kingsized Bed Canopy costs £385.62. Without the VAT, it costs £335.32, so you save £50.30
A Chromax Jacket costs £155.25. Without the VAT, it costs £135.00, so you save £25.25
Chromax Trousers cost £74.75. Without the VAT, they cost £65.00, so you save £9.75
Chromax Mittens cost £28.75. Without the VAT, they cost £25.00, so you save £3.75
Chromax Booties cost £28.75. Without the VAT, they cost £25.00, so you save £3.75
No other products currently are subject to this zero-rating, only the bed canopies, headnets and clothing, but it's a start!
