The equipment below is easy to use, although the MW35 microwave monitor does need some technical knowledge and/or experience to be able to take and interpret the readings. Where international research has found adverse health effects at specific EMF levels, these are shown clearly in the instruction leaflets. 3G signals are very difficult to measure.

The Acoustimeter

The acoustimeter is our most versatile microwave detector. A combination of the MW1 and the COM, it presents audio, LEDs and accurate readings on an LCD screen. It also measures both the peak and average readings at the same time. This allows you to track down the source and type of the radiation, and to see how much you are being exposed in your home, workplace, or on the go.

It is sensitive from 0.02 V/m to 6 V/m, between 200 MHz and 8 GHz.

The MW1 Electrosmog Detector

The MW1 microwave detector converts pulsing RF radiation into sound that you can hear. This allows you to track down the source and type of radiation present in your home, workplace, or on the go. It is also available to buy with the ELF meter at a discounted rate as part of the Personal Electrosmog Kit.

It is sensitive from 0.05 V/m between 250 MHz and 2500 MHz

The EMFields PRO Meter

The PRO measures Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) produced near powerlines, substations or transformers, house wiring & electrical appliances. The PRO meter will be able to help you check if you and your family are too highly exposed, at home, at school and at work. The PRO meter will be able to help you measure the EMF levels in your environment. It measures up to 20 microtesla and 2000 volts per metre. The UK average residential magnetic field is about 0.05 microtesla. Ideally electric fields should be 10 volts per metre or less.

The ELF-GS3030B Digital EMF/ELF Meter

The ELF meter measures power frequency electric and magnetic fields (ELF EMFs) in your house and typical office workplace. The ELF meter will be able to help you check if you and your family are too highly exposed, at home, at school and at work. It is a sensitive meter with a magnetic field range from 1 to 1999 nanotesla (0.001 to 1.999 microtesla, and electric field range from 1-1999 volts/metre. The UK average residential magnetic field is about 50 nanotesla (0.05 microtesla). Ideally electric fields should be 10 volts per metre or less. Magnetic fields under high-voltage powerlines and near transformers will often exceed the range of this meter.

The Acousti-COM microwave detector converts pulsing RF radiation into sound that you can hear. It is very similar to the MW1, but is more sensitive. This allows you to track down the source and type of radiation present in your home, workplace, or on the go. The MW35 is an advanced microwave detector. It converts pulsing RF radiation into a reading that you can see on the LCD screen, and also into audio you can hear.
