Mobile phone masts or base stations can disturb your health and well-being

Many people living close to mobile phone base stations report adverse effects on their well-being.

A German doctors practice in Bamberg investigated the pulsing microwaves levels in the homes of 356 patients who had consulted the doctors for a wide range of problems. The doctors reported that as the microwave levels increased to levels commonly found in home near to mobile phone base stations patients increasingly suffered from (most commonly reported symptoms first):

Sleep disturbances, tiredness, disturbance in concentration, forgetfulness, a problem with finding words, depressive mood, ear noises, sudden loss of hearing, giddiness, nose bleeds, visual disturbances, frequent infections, sinusitis, joint and limb pains, nerve and soft tissue pains, feeling of numbness, heart rhythm disturbances and increased blood pressure.

They found that people living within a few hundred metres of a base station mast reported nine times more problems than those living further away in lower microwave fields. Please note that not all masts look like masts - here are some examples. They are often disguised.

How do you tell if there is one near to you? It is not always easy to do so if they are disguised. Most important is to see if your home is affected by any microwave radiation a mast, whether disguised, or in plain sight, may be exposing you to. The best way of finding out is to use a RF meter to measure any RF fields that may be present. Using our Acoustimeter (hired or purchased) this is easy to do and most informative.

You will also be able to hear any pulsing of the signal. We believe that the peak levels (the pulses) are most likely to be the cause of ill-health symptoms.
