We now supply floor lamps and desk lamps that give off virtually zero levels of radiofrequency emissions. The lamps and bulbs are earthed as is the cable, so powerfrequency electric fields are also minimised. Earthing lamps in this way is really only safely done by someone who is a competent electrician, and these are not necessarily easy to find, and may not understand about the need for low EMFs.

We offer two Earthed table lamps and one Earthed floor lamp. Together with our range of LED bulbs, you will be able to have a light that is bright enough for reading or other forms of close activity, without being exposed to ELF and RF emissions that come from most modern lights. All of the lamps have been tested for EMF emissions.

The lamps come supplied with either a warm white LED bulb, or a daylight LED bulb. The two different types of light means they are very versatile and can produce exactly the light you need, whether you are wanting to read small print clearly or undertake some fine work (Daylight) or sit in a 'cosy glow' with enough light to relax to, yet still bright enough for most activities, not requiring very clear detail (Warm light).

These will be suitable for people with ES and for others who want a lamp and do not, or cannot, use CFLs or ordinary LEDs. Using a properly earthed lamp gives a big reduction in your EMF/RF exposure, and saves you money as the bulb is very long lasting, and consumes much less energy than the old incandescent bulbs.

Low EMF desk lamp This comes with a 4 watt LED bulb. The warm-white version is ideal for general purposes and especially bed-time reading where it is best not to have too bright a light. The daylight bulb is better for close up detailed work, especially if good colour rendering is important. Low EMF angle-poise lamp This comes with an earthed, bright 7 watt LED bulb (about equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent bulb). The lamp is a full sized anglepoise lamp and is ideal as a working desk light. Many ES people prefer the warm-white bulb, but a daylight bulb is also available for work requiring good colour balance. Low EMF floor lamp This comes with an earthed, bright 7 watt LED bulb (about equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent bulb). The lamp stands about 1.3 metres high (4 ft 3inches).
